Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University track and field team will travel to Kings Point, N.Y. to compete in the Coach "O" Invitational Track Meet on Saturday, April 16, 2005. Following the meet the Adelphi Alumni Relations Department and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host a special alumni reception.

The meet will be held at the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) and will begin at 10:00 am. The Panthers will compete in events ranging from the 100 meter dash to the 5,000 meter run as well as field events including the shot put and triple jump.
